Our Story

I first started working in the fashion industry within my family's business in London and after 5 years learning the ins and outs of running a business, it was time to do my own thing. That's when Styled In London (now known as Minnie & Monty) launched in November 2013 originally as a ladieswear business. I started sourcing styles from Europe and photographing the collections on our models "street style" in and around the pretty streets in Notting Hill & Chelsea. I've always had a passion for photography so doing my own photos was something that was really important to me and I still do every photoshoot to this day.

After a whirlwind 4 years living and running my business in London, it was time for a big life change and in 2017 I relocated to the coast in Margate. I started to photograph our collections on the beautiful local beaches and our brand started to develop a new style with soft cotton fabrics & comfortable shapes in mind. 

In the Summer of 2019, we welcomed our first baby. The business continued to run uninterrupted until covid was announced in March 2020. Ladieswear sales had plummeted which left me feeling lost and disconnected from the business. I always new I wanted to branch out into baby and children's clothing one day and so this felt like the right time to try and see if my dream of styling baby clothes could become a reality. I took the leap in Summer 2020 and launched my very first baby collection Styled In London Baby - styling items on my own little one and doing photoshoots in my garden. 

My baby collections were carefully curated with style and comfort in mind. I launched a small collection of Mama & Mini matching styles which was something I couldn't find anywhere on the high street at the time. 

In April 2021 it was time for another change, this time for a new brand name since I was no longer in London nor was I styling and shooting my collections in London any more. After the hugely successful launch of the baby and children's clothes, it only felt natural to put my main focus into those collections and I knew we needed a name that better suited this. That's when we rebranded as Minnie & Monty and it is a name that's very special to me as my little boy is called Monty! 

In March 2023, we were blessed with our second baby boy. Juggling mum life and running a small business comes with its own challenges but I am so happy and proud of how far Minnie & Monty has come in just 4 years with the support of my incredible assistant who keeps our office running smoothly and most importantly, your orders dispatching daily. We have accumulated over 30k followers on Instagram and a loyal customer base which has enabled the business to continue to grow and we have some very exciting plans for the future so watch this space!
